    With the summer upon us, it would be great to get most of the poster work done ahead of schedule. I took the liberty to mock up one design for the OctUber Fest LAN - please comment.

    Well, I am not going to even bother with making a poster for The OctUber LAN. This one is too good. I will throw my hat into the ring for the next one. Might have to do with Left 4 Dead 2 perhaps...

    Pong Expo - I made it half size to get double the number of posters. So it will be 17 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall.

    I'm also working on a cable sale poster that is similar - perhaps we can put up both?

    I felt that there would be too much clutter if I included prices. There's enough crap for the freshman to read anyway, so keeping it simple and bold should do wonders IMHO.

    Hey Stunna, can I get a high res copy of that poster at the 17x11 or larger?

    Here is the highest res .jpeg I can get. I can't really change the 8.5x11 ratio however. The L4D style pictures are that way. They would get distorted if we made them that much taller.

    stunna, is there any way to make a tabloid? 11x17? - if you're having trouble with scaling, move the text to the bottom over a black background.

    If you just scale down the res two 250 itll make it bigger, which will give you a headstart. You can go lower if need be. the printers this will be made on dont need that high ppi.
